New Chairs!!!

We have been blessed to have chairs in our Church that lasted SO long. After seeing many break and after living for years with multi-color chairs, the Lord provided the means and wisdom to allow for nice, new chairs!  May they last even longer than the ones before.

Rosa Christmas Eve 2012

The Rosa Family enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner at Uncle Nick & Aunt Dorothy's.  We had a really fun time cleaning shrimp, squid and had more fun eating it. Some people were baking  while others were cooking fish and pasta. It was a great day. 

 My Great-Grandma was making sure everyone did their jobs. No one was allowed to dillydally. Ha ha ha.

My Dad was really crazy about the seafood. It's his favorite meal of the year.

Grandma Rosa had a really neat sign in front of her home that we just  loved, and she found one for us in a garden store near her home. It reinforces how we should be thinking as true followers of the Lord Jesus:

Fall Happenings

Just a few random items to capture the happenings this fall...

A couple of photos from around our block after Hurricane Sandy.  The Lord was very good to us and protected us through that scary storm!!!

While in Lancaster, PA we happened to see some people taking off in hot air balloons just as we were leaving! It was quite a sight to see and we had fun watching the people "take off."

Backyard Camping

We asked our Dad if we could set up the tent in the backyard.  We wanted to have a camp out with our friend.  We all tried to put it together before Dad came home...

 When Dad came home, we were in business!

Una vacanza magnifica!!

We were very blessed once again to be able to take a trip that Brian qualified for at work. The destination for this year was Rome! Just being in a place where there were structures built in the 6th and 8th Century BC and still see some of them standing was amazing.

Some of our own personal highlights were: 
1. Our trip to the Colosseum (and getting separated from the rest of our tour group! We could hear them in our ear-pieces, but never did catch up with them! Ha ha ha...)  
2. Walking the streets and visiting The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon 
3. A nice day trip to Florence (Firenze) which was really neat.

"Get in the Show"

We know we haven't posted anything...almost seems like FOREVER.  We're sorry, and busy...as you can see. We traveled all the way to a REAL studio set (okay-it was about 25 minutes to a bookstore) and all of our boys participated in a contest to try to win a speaking part as a guest character in the Adventures in Odyssey.  Even if none of OUR stars win, it was a lot of fun and a great learning experience!
